The first Advent calendar from Veluwsch Verfgoed is coming soon! And we are starting right away with a truly special edition. In this advent calendar, you will not only find beautiful, hand-dyed mini skeins of yarn from Veluwsch Verfgoed... you will also be taken on a journey through a beautiful, self-written Christmas story in which you will discover the true meaning of Christmas. Every day you open a piece of the story accompanied by a matching dyed mini skein of yarn – and every other day, a nice little extra.

Some general information about the Advent calendar:

- The Advent Calendar is a PRE-ORDER, which means that you are purchasing the Advent Calendar now with a nice discount, but you will receive it later. The regular price of the yarn advent calendar is €179,99. During the pre-order period, you will receive a discount of 14,99. 

We aim to ship the Advent calendar from mid to late October so that it arrives in everyone's home well in time. You will, of course, receive an email containing all shipping details at the time of shipment. - The Advent calendar contains the following elements:

- 24 story cards in which you discover a piece of the story of Mira and the Fox every day – culminating on Christmas Eve in the conclusion of this beautiful, self-written Christmas story.

- 24 mini-skeins of Veluwsch Verfgoed Sock – or DK – depending on your choice. The mini-skeins are dyed based on the story cards and may turn out semi-solid, variegated, speckled, or striped. We do not offer a fade in this Advent calendar. The skeins are fully interchangeable but do not need to be used in a specific order. The colors in the Advent calendar will reflect our assortment – ​​think of natural tones, calmness, and tranquility – but sometimes also sparkling or surprising!

- The conditions of both yarn thicknesses are 75% merino wool with 25% nylon. A skein of Sock is 20 grams with a length of 80 meters. For the DK, this is 20 grams with a length of 45 meters. - Additionally, the calendar contains a pattern; however, this is not a specific pattern for the Advent calendar itself, so it is not a requirement to crochet or knit this along with the calendar.

- The calendar contains 12 fun goodies that fit the theme. The goodies are a nice reflection of the products that we currently sell in the store. Furthermore, we have collaborated with various well-known names from the crafting world, who are also providing specially made goodies for this calendar.

- Naturally, the calendar is taken care of down to the last detail and takes a lot of time and work to make. Hence this pre-order, so that we have all the time to deliver this product with the right quality. There is a limited run of calendars, and once this number is reached, pre-order registration will close. Should this be the case, you can still be placed on a waiting list in case calendars remain or someone cancels their order.

- Because this is a pre-order, we are offering it with a nice discount. The discount and pre-order are valid throughout April, while supplies last. The pre-order closes on Monday, May 4, 2026. After this date, it will no longer be possible to order a calendar, even if it is still in stock.

PLEASE NOTE! When ordering an Advent calendar, you must enter both the desired yarn thickness and the desired language of the story before you can place your order. You also choose whether to pay for the calendar in full immediately or in two installments. Additionally, we urge you to enter your address details correctly so that your order is properly registered in our system. Because the advent calendar is a major logistical project, we print all address details exactly as received, and we are not liable for undelivered boxes due to incorrect entries.

Furthermore, it is not possible to order other products along with this PRE-ORDER, as shipping will not take place for several months. Any extra products added to an order will be cancelled and refunded.

We offer the option to pay for the calendar in one payment or two installments. If you choose 2 installments, you pay half of the calendar's price as a down payment now. The second half of the calendar must be paid before July 10th. You can transfer the debt to our bank account before this date, when the moment is yours, or await a friendly reminder in due course. We will send this out far before the date passes. Please note! If you choose installments, you commit to paying the second installment in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale on our website.
