Lityarn wool - Sunset - SALE

Hand-dyed yarn from far-off Lithuania.....

Lityarn is a one-man business in Lithuania. The company spins its own wool and dyes it in small batches. The wool is fair and pure, containing no nylon or other artificial additives. This makes the wool very suitable for shawls, sweaters, hats, and mittens. This wool is also extremely suitable for felting projects.

Lityarn dyes small quantities of wool; therefore, it is not possible to reorder the colors shown with a guarantee. Every batch they dye is unique and slightly different. The stock displayed in the store is the leading indicator and therefore does not guarantee restocking if it sells out.

Some general information about a skein of Lityarn wool:

- 1 skein contains 360 meters of length and weighs 100 grams.

- The yarn consists of 100% wool with a 2-ply spun thread. The yarn falls under the fingering weight yarns. - Extremely suitable for making items such as sweaters, shawls, hats, or felt work. Please note! This yarn is less suitable for socks because it does not contain nylon/polyamide. As a result, a garment like a sock will felt/wear out faster with frequent use.

- Gauge is 28 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm

- Suitable for knitting needles/crochet hooks 2.5mm - 4.5mm

- This yarn is hand-dyed. As a result, every skein is unique and slightly different in color. The colors and skeins shown are therefore indicative and may always differ slightly in reality due to screens distorting colors.

- Washing instructions for this type of yarn are max. 30°C on a wool wash program in the machine. However, hand washing is preferred. Never put products made with this yarn in a tumble dryer or wash them in the washing machine to prevent felting. Also, never use fabric softener; always choose a wool detergent.
