Chiagoo Red lace - circular needle 150 cm - needle size 5.5mm

The RED Lace series of fixed circular needles is one of ChiaoGoo's most popular. Understandably, these needles are incredibly versatile. The series is available in six different lengths, from 40-150cm, making them ideal for (circular) knitting projects with a large number of stitches, such as blankets and shawls. These needles are also very user-friendly. The matte finish prevents annoying light reflection, and the stainless steel they are made of is hypoallergenic, meaning they are safe for most people with nickel allergies. The steel alloy is incredibly strong and durable, yet lightweight and fully recyclable. Compared to the original Knit RED circular needles, the evenly tapered points are slightly more pointed, making them easier to insert. This makes these needles ideal for knitting patterns that require multiple stitches, such as openwork, bobbles, puffs, or cables. Thanks to the mirror-smooth surface, stitches glide smoothly on and off the needle. The needles are straight (unlike those of the original Knit RED series, which have a bend in the needle from 30cm onwards), and the transition between the needle and the patented RED cable is seamless. The extremely flexible (also called "memory-free") red nylon-coated cable consists of multiple steel wires, preventing kinks, permanent kinking, or deformation during knitting. The needle size is clearly visible and laser-etched into the needle.
