Some general information about a skein of Veluwsch Verfgoed Mohair-Silk:

- 1 skein is 50 grams and contains 420 meters of length

- The yarn consists of 72% brushed superkid mohair and 28% mulberry silk

- extremely suitable for knitting into a garment. The mohair is silky-soft and fluffy, creating a beautiful downy layer over your work when knitted in.

- gauge is 32 stitches x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm

- suitable for knitting needles/crochet hooks 3.0mm - 4.0mm

- This yarn is hand-dyed. As a result, every skein is unique and slightly different in color. The colors and skeins shown are therefore indicative and may differ slightly in reality due to screen color distortion.

- After fixation, the yarn is hand-washed with a high-quality wool detergent. You can assume that the yarn will hardly "bleed" when it comes into contact with water. However, some colored water may still appear, especially with dark or bright colors. Please do not worry about this.

- The washing instructions for this type of yarn are max. 30°C on a wool wash cycle in the machine. Never put products made with this yarn in a tumble dryer or wash at a higher temperature to prevent felting. Also, never use fabric softener; always choose a wool detergent.

- The yarn is super soft and provides perfect stitch definition with a beautiful sheen.

- Skeins dyed with multiple colors give a mottled effect when used, while skeins dyed semi-solid give a relatively smooth gradient. It is always possible that a small amount of white may appear, even in a semi-solid color. In the manual dyeing process, this is sometimes unavoidable. However, in practice, this is often not bothersome in the finished work.

- Every skein is manually wound and labeled. It is therefore possible that not every strand looks "perfect". However, this is something we consciously choose and simply indicates that your strand has been worked on with love and attention.
