Patroon booklet - Pumpkin Parade (Dutch only)

Printed pattern booklet for the crochet pattern by "The Guy with the Hook" titled "Pumpkin Parade."

The pumpkins in the example were made using Lettlopi yarn.

Yarn requirements: For this pattern, I used Istex Lettlopi in various colors. Istex Lettlopi is made of 100% wool and has a rustic, raw appearance—perfect for this type of project, as it gives the finished result a very realistic look. One ball of Lettlopi weighs 50 grams and has a length of 100 meters. I used colors 1417, 1418, 1703, and 1704 to create a lovely set of pumpkins. I made one large pumpkin using color 1704, one medium-sized pumpkin using colors 1418 and 1703, and three small pumpkins using colors 1417 and 1704. I even had some yarn left over, enough to make a few more if desired. Below is a general guide to what you will need for each pumpkin size—you can use any type of Aran-weight yarn or whatever you prefer—though the quantities listed are based on the specific material used. Requirements for a small pumpkin: 20 grams of yarn (40 meters of yarn) and approximately 5 grams of stuffing.
Requirements for a medium-sized pumpkin: 35 grams of yarn (70 meters of yarn) and approximately 10 grams of stuffing.
Requirements for a large pumpkin: 60 grams of yarn (120 meters of yarn) and approximately 20 grams of stuffing.

Crochet hook required:
I used a 4.0 mm crochet hook for the entire pattern and for all sizes of pumpkins.

Size: The final dimensions for each pumpkin size are:

Small: diameter 6 cm – height 5 cm
Medium: diameter 10 cm – height 7 cm
Large: diameter 14 cm – height 9 cm

Other requirements:
For this pattern, you will need a few additional materials. Some are practical, while others make the process of crocheting the pumpkin easier.

- Needle
- Fiberfill for stuffing the pumpkin (see the required amounts for each pumpkin in the section on yarn requirements)
- Cinnamon sticks for the stem
- A small amount of clear fabric glue (optional and not strictly necessary)
