Adhair scarf kit

In this kit, you will find the supplies needed to make the Adhair scarf.

- The kit contains a pattern booklet in the language of your choice - and 3 skeins of Veluwsch Verfgoed Sock, Sock Tweed, or DK. You choose 3 skeins in a color yourself and indicate this in the comments of your order. We will then add these to this kit.

The booklet has the following conditions:

- A5 size
- printed on FSC-certified paper
- 160-gram paper thickness
- available in both Dutch and English

This pattern is made with 3 skeins of Veluwsch Verfgoed Sock Tweed - knitted with double strands. Yarn required:

The pattern is made with Veluwsch Verfgoed Sock Tweed, used double-stranded. I used the color Eucalyptus Leaves. The pattern requires a DK yarn, so you can use a DK yarn of which you need 600 meters. Or you can use a thin yarn (fingering weight), double-stranded as I did. For that, you need 1200 meters of yarn. I used three balls of Veluwsch Verfgoed Sock Tweed, good for 400 meters of yarn per skein, with a composition of 75% wool, 15% nylon, and 10% faux.

Needle required:

For this pattern, you need 4.0 mm knitting needles. I used an 80 cm circular needle.

Size: The pattern has an asymmetrical shape. The final dimensions of the pattern after blocking are:

Long side - 120 cm
Short side - 90 cm
Diagonal - 150 cm
The pattern can easily be adjusted to a shorter or longer version by adding or removing repeats.

Special notes:

-The pattern involves cable knitting. Therefore, in addition to your regular knitting needles, you will also need a cable needle. A few stitch markers are also required.

-Blocking your work adds approximately 20% extra centimeters – keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to block... The scarf will also become slightly larger when worn, as the knitting becomes more flexible.

-The pattern includes diagrams and written instructions.
-There is no video tutorial available for this pattern.

-After Row 86, there is a repeat section that you can continue to repeat. You can decide for yourself whether to make fewer or more repeats to adjust the size.

-The pattern is knitted in Rounds. There is a section with cable stitches, and next to the cable section, you have a section in rib stitch where you can increase stitches and grow your scarf.
